Tony is a highly regarded leader with more than 25 years experience as a senior executive at leading healthcare firms. Tony started his career at United States Surgical Corporation where he was a multi-award winning sales producer. Tony progressed through sales to follow his true passion of leadership and sales management. Tony’s teams were consistently on the leader board. Later, Tony negotiated large hospital purchasing contracts as Director of National Accounts.
As National Sales Manager at Sulzer Spine-Tech, he led a hybrid sales organization to double revenue from $50M to more than $110M in less than two years.
As Vice President of Sales at Kyphon, Tony hired, trained, and developed a sales organization that grew from pre-commercial start-up to more than $213M in five years. Kyphon went public in 2002 and was eventually sold to Medtronic for $4.2 billion. After a stint advising companies like NuVasive on commercial strategy, Tony went on to become CEO of Baxano, Inc., which was sold in 2013.
Tony is renowned throughout the healthcare industry for his ability to inspire leaders, develop teams and devise innovative commercialization strategies that directly led to exponential top-line growth.
Patty has been active in commercial and nonprofit business endeavors for more than 15 years. She has spearheaded numerous programs, events, and campaigns with specialties in operations, management, and administration skills that enable the overall growth and efficiency of organizations.
What makes Patty unique is her ability to listen and understand the real needs of companies and create customized solutions that fit their specific requirements. Whenever Patty gets involved with a project, she brings a can-do attitude and high standard of performance that ensures excellence in execution. She has been described as a "must have" for operational teams at scientific, technology, and nonprofit organizations.
Patty brings a wealth of knowledge in other areas, including communications, PR, marketing, and planning. Patty holds a BA degree in Communications and Public Relations from California State University at Fullerton.
